Electric Executive brings a sustainable, fully electric option to premium transport in Hawke's Bay. Beginning by taking the vehicle brand "BYD; Build Your Dreams" at face value, it has grown to now three vehicles, including the latest fully electric Mercedes-Benz e-Vito van (7 Passengers). As a preferred transfer provider to Rosewood Cape Kidnappers, Porters Hotel and Hawthorne House, they are fully aligned to 5-star transport Standards and well-established in the region.

This summer, they have expanded into offering a Great Wine Capital Private Tour and Wine and Sightseeing experiences (including partnering with Ātea a Rangi to bring guests onsite). Guests are now hosted by four staff with extensive winery cellar door, wine-making, and hospitality experience (See below).

Electric Executive aims to enable businesses and manuhiri (visitors) alike to choose zero-emissions transport, aligning with personal sustainability values (e.g. the Tiaki Promise) and ESG reporting without compromising quality.

DUNCAN DARROCH

Duncan is the owner and founder of Elec Exec. He has a wine-making background (pgdip Sci - wine Sci) with vintages at Kumeu River and Villa Maria Estate. He is an experienced High School Science teacher who immediately connects with guests, making them feel at ease. His attention to detail and knowledge of everything wine-related means you’ll have an immersive and enjoyable tour or transfer experience.

BRYAN STUBBINGS

Bryan is a former geography teacher and has owned a licenced cafe. He has recently retired from managing the Cellar Door at the acclaimed Clearview Winery. With his extensive contacts and knowledge of the Hawke’s Bay wine industry, he can make your tour intriguing, educational and entertaining.

ANJA THOMPSON

Anja is originally from Holland and studied tourism there. She speaks several European languages and has travelled extensively through the Great Wine regions. Having worked in wineries across Hawke’s Bay, Anja is passionate about sharing the secrets of this special place with others.

NORBERT PLATZDASCH

Norbert is originally from Germany but has called NZ home for over 30 years. In that time he has had extensive winery and hospitality experience. His professionalism, combined with his rich knowledge of Hawke’s Bay, make him the perfect host for your visit.
