GREAT WINE CAPITAL FULL DAY PRIVATE TOUR

10am - 5pm
Up to 7 guests for a single price of NZ$1,050 (NZ$150 per hour)

  • Begin on the coast in the Te Awanga sub-region with a behind-the-scenes tour and tasting at Clearview Estate Winery or Elephant Hill.

  • Move inland to Havelock Hills with the impressive Te Mata peak setting the scene at Craggy Range Winery or Black Barn with the option of a two-course lunch or a platter.

  • Uncover the secrets of red wine in Gimblett Gravels and the Bridge Pa Triangle at Pask or Trinity Hill.

  • Finish in the Napier sub-region among New Zealand’s oldest wineries at Church Road or Mission Estate.

GREAT WINE CAPITAL HALF DAY PRIVATE TOUR

GREAT WINE CAPITAL GROUP TOUR

4 hours
10am - 2pm
Up to 7 guests; NZ$260 per person, includes tastings and a shared cheese platter.

20% Discount for bookings of 3 or more guests.

Experience two unique wineries, a Maori cultural site and stunning sightseeing up Te Mata Peak. Beginning on the coast, you will gain an appreciation for Maori knowledge (Matauranga Maori) at the Atea a rangi Celestial Compass. From there you'll enjoy a wine-tasting and cheese platter at Clearview Winery (with a short tour if the winery is available).

We'll journey through the magnificent Tukituki Valley and then up to the top of Te Mata Peak. All the while learning about the unique culture, geology, botany and history of the region.

Finally, you'll finish with another tasting at the family-owned boutique Askerne Winery before returning to Napier City. All the while, you will be guided by local experts in a fully electric vehicle with zero emissions.

Please note: This tour requires a minimum of two participants. If the minimum is not met, you will be offered a rescheduled date or a full refund.
